Bishop Moves to Victory Lane

July 15, 2024 Montgomery, Alabama: The Tour returned to the gulf coast this past Saturday night At Mobile International Speedway. The opening practice saw the # 131 of Jeff Letson leading the way, followed by Hayden AL driver Augie Grill piloting the #30 entry out of Texas. Jaxon Bishop in the #2 entry was third, Jeremy Williams #81 was 4th fastest and the # 54 of Brazilian driver Diogo Moscato Rounded out the top five. The second practice session only bunched people up more and we saw the number 31 of Brad Stell slide into the 5th Fastest position.

Qualifying came up next at the fast half mile As the #131 Of Jeff Letson from Madison Alabama Took his Ron’s insulation, quality glass co, True torque diesel, holston gasses sponsored Machine to the top of the charts with a time of 18.445 Jeremy Williams was second LG Grimm was 3rd Jaxson Bishop and #86 Bubba Van Devender Rounded out the top five.

At the drop of the green flag it was Jeremy Williams number 81 from Dora AL Setting the pace. the weather and the racing was hot and heavy as the fans saw how the high horsepower, ground pounding machines could battle. Caution flew on lap 7 for #54 Diogo Moscato visiting the acreage off of turn 3. The #00 of Jared Maupin the #r 88 larry Hughes and Alec Mankey all took the opportunity to dive into the pits For adjustments with 43 laps on the board.

Williams fought hard to hold the lead but on a late race restart the #2 Jaxon Bishop wrangled it away from the #81 and took his APEX Construction, Joe’s racing products, Full throttle race parts, Sign here graphics hot rod to Victory Lane
