Montgomery, Alabama (August 17, 2026) — For the first time since 2023, the Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Modifieds of Mayhem Tour powered by Chevrolet Performance will return to Cordele Motor Speedway.
The Tour will be participating as part of the Georgia Summer Nationals festivities on Saturday, August 22nd. The last time the series visited the South Georgia facility, it was Dalton Nelson who found himself celebrating in victory lane. Now, the history books are waiting to see who will add their name to the list of Moidifieds of Mayhem winners in Crisp County.
The series has visited Cordele a total of nine times, with only one driver winning multiple races. Zach Knowles won three times across the 2017, 2018, and 2019 seasons. Kyle Purvis, Johnny Walker, Tim Moore, Jaxon Bishop, Cody Stickler, and the aforementioned Dalton Nelson have all won once.
Shifting the focus to the current-day state of the Modifieds of Mayhem Tour, Derrick Griffin enters the weekend with a 12-point lead over Jared Maupin. The last time the series raced was at Mobile International Speedway on June 27th, where Donnie Hamrac scored the victory. Time will tell who emerges as the winner of the Georgia Summer Nationals 50, the next chapter of the Tour’s 2026 season.
The Modifieds of Mayhem will make up just one part of a stacked lineup of racing at the Georgia Summer Nationals. The event will be headlined by the Southern Super Series Super Late Models, with several local classes participating as well.
