Cordele, Georgia (August 23, 2026) — One of the winningest drivers in Modifieds of Mayhem competition returned to victory lane for the first time since the 2026 season opener.
Cody Stickler (no. 46) put on a dominant performance at Cordele Motor Speedway on his way to victory lane in the Georgia Summer Nationals 50, the penultimate points-paying event of the 2026 season for the Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Modifieds of Mayhem Tour powered by Chevrolet Performance.
Stickler would lead the way through all three afternoon practice sessions on Saturday, in addition to winning the CT525 Fast Qualifier award. Stickler even drew a 1 in the redraw as well.

The feature event was a straightforward affair for Stickler and crew, who led from flag to flag and picked up the victory to bookend a terrific day in Crisp County. With the victory, Stickler becomes only the second driver to score multiple wins at the Cordele, Ga. facility.
Behind Stickler, Matthew LaPrade (no. 18L) and Bubba VanDevender (no. 45) had strong runs to round out the podium in second and third places respectively. Kevin Peel (no. 18p) finished fourth, with Jaxon Bishop (no. 2) rounding out the top five.
In the battle for the 2026 Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Modifieds of Mayhem Tour powered by Chevrolet Performance championship, Derrick Griffin (no. 95) is set to enter the points-paying finale at Montgomery on September 19th with a sizeable advantage.
His closest championship threat coming into the weekend, Jared Maupin (no. 96), finished 13th and retired 25 laps early due to mechanical issues. Griffin finished in seventh place at Cordele on Saturday night.

The series will return to action at Montgomery Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 19th for the Fall Brawl. The event will serve as the points-paying finale for the Modifieds of Mayhem, and will be their last event before the non-points Snowball Derby 75 in December.
