Montgomery, Alabama (April 20, 2026) — The Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Modifieds of Mayhem Tour powered by Chevrolet Performance saw a certain NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series competitor have a good night at Montgomery Motor Speedway on Saturday, that being Kaden Honeycutt (no. 30).
Starting on the outside of the front row for the Rumble by the River, Honeycutt quickly jumped to the lead by the end of the first set of corners and could not be stopped en route to victory lane.
The win stands as a testament to the continued success of Honeycutt’s team, a stable of cars prepared by John Heil. Honeycutt’s victory on Saturday means that he’s now gone back-to-back, having been victorious in the tour’s last visit to Montgomery for the Hunt for the Bear 62 back in March.
“Thank you to Stan [Narrison], everyone at Montgomery Motor Speedway for an amazing facility and an awesome race track to race on,” said Honeycutt in victory lane. “I love running on these worn-out racetracks. Thank you to all the fans that showed up tonight. I know Stan appreciates all of you showing up and supporting weekly racing.”
The 2026 World Series of Asphalt Florida Modified champion, Jared Maupin (no. 96), came home in the runner-up position.
“It was a scramble after the last race here, we tore that car up pretty bad,” said Maupin. “Got this car, worked really hard learning on how to configure it. I’m glad it’s in one piece, second-place finish isn’t bad for the first time in it.”
Behind Maupin, it was 2025 Hunt for the Bear winner Kevin Peel (no. 18) who rounded out the podium in third.
“The car was good tonight,” said Peel. “We got hung up in first gear on a restart. If I hadn’t done that, I think we could have run second. I think Kaden was saving a little bit.”
Behind Peel, Derrick Griffin (no. 95) finished fourth. Buddy Anderson (no. 62) completed the top five.
